Son of Mercy is Davido's first release since he signed a deal with Sony Music Entertainment, an American label and company owned by Sony through Sony Entertainment. The five-track features guest appearances from Nigerian singer Simi, South African rapper Nasty C and American singer, songwriter Tinashe. The songs included are: Gbagbe Oshi, Maga 2 Mugu, Coolest Kid in Africa, Return and How Long? Davido continues to experiment with new sounds that complement his African flow. This is an interesting compilation and a sign of better things to come.
