Bishop Oyedepo reveals sponsors of killer herdsmen

Bishop Oyedepo reveals sponsors of killer herdsmen
The Bishop of Living Faith Church (aka Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, yesterday said the inability of the government to arrest killer herdsmen in some part of the Middle Belt zone was because the killers were agents of the government.
Speaking in Ota, Ogun State, at the Church’s Sunday Service titled ‘Covenant Day of Settlement and Thanksgiving’, the clergyman stated that it was absurd for the government to fail in arresting some self-confessed killer herders in Jos, Plateau State.
Oyedepo said: “Help me ask them how many mosques have been destroyed by these people? You can also ask them how many of those who have destroyed the church has ever been caught? How many of the destroyed churches has government ever added a dime to rebuild?
“I have said it, let us remove the mask from the masquerade and nobody will fear it anymore. Government is part of this thing; you don’t need to go to school to know that.
“If people claimed responsibilities to the killings in Jos and were not arrested, the question is who is to arrest them? Is it the citizens or government? It’s the government, but they cannot arrest them because they are their agents.”
While stating that every leader is a caretaker and God remains the creator and owner of every nation, including Nigeria, he added that Nigeria would have peace when they understand that God is in control of everything, including the land.
“When a caretaker starts behaving like a landlord he will be removed. God is the permanent landlord of the earth.
“Too many arrogant foes who pose to own this nation, be warned because the day of God’s judgement is here.
“Those who sponsor and perpetrate killings and also offer covering for killers to keep killing, God will lead them to rest. God will give us peace in this country by all means.
“God enthrones kings and removes kings,” he said.

How Woman Gives Birth To A Baby With 4 Hands And 3 Legs In Kaduna

How Woman Gives Birth To A Baby With 4 Hands And 3 Legs In Kaduna
Current report that 24-year-old Malama Hawwa’u Jamilu, is excited with her newborn twins. She has been engaged in fervent prayers, and she was safely delivered of twins on Sunday, 25th February, 2018. However, the joy that greeted the birth was shortened, DailyTrust reports.
The local nurses that delivered the twins noticed that one of them was born with four hands and three legs. Like wildfire, the news spread into the community and people began to troop to Kabiru Kafinta’s house, where Hawwa’u and family are residing, to see things for themselves.
Strangely, Hawwa’u was not perturbed about the physique of her baby.
She told DailyTrust that she regarded it as part of the might of Allah. “Both of them are female. Of course, one would have loved to deliver the babies without any deformity. But since Allah in His infinite mercy had decided to create the twins like this, what can I do? This is why you see me relaxed, and I love them both.”
The only peculiar behaviour exhibited by the deformed twin, is a big appetite. “Apart from that,” Hawwa’u said, “she is normal like any other baby. Have you forgotten that I carried her in my womb for nine months? I love my daughter and I know that she is human, despite her physical challenge.”
Hawwa’u said she has given birth three times before now, making the twins her fourth delivery during her six years of marriage.
Similarly, Hawwa’u said she doesn’t attend ante-natal sessions, saying that she delivered her other children at home, same as the twins. “I think the problem is not failure to visit the hospital, because the twins are not my first.
“As I said earlier, it is just the will of Allah. I gave birth three times, and I have not experienced anything like this. This is the will of Allah and there is nothing one can do about it,” she said.
It was learnt that when the deformity was discovered, the babies were taken to hospital for examination. It was learnt that the case cannot be handled by a local hospital, but by a tertiary one.
A doctor at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Dr. Umar Abdul’aziz, said the extra leg and hands can be removed and the little girl can have a normal life.
He added: “There is nothing to worry about. It is a case that can be handled by experts after certain investigations.
“It is however advisable for all pregnant women to be attending ante-natal for their health and that of their unborn babies.
“Many things can be detected during ante-natal that would assist in safe delivery and correction of abnormalities. It is not proper at this period of the world’s development for somebody to decide to ignore ante-natal and be giving birth at home.”
As Hawwa’u continues to nurse her twins, she is optimistic that the baby will grow up to be “a special person in life.”

Rann: Buhari reacts to Boko Haram attack on UN workers
President Muhammadu Buhari says the attack on humanitarian workers in Rann, Borno State, more than ever shows Boko Haram insurgents as godless, brutish, and utterly to be despised.
This is contained in a statement on Friday by his spokesman, Femi Adesina.
As I have always maintained, no true religion advocates hurting the innocent”, he said.
“To now further attack and kill those offering humanitarian aid is the height of bestiality. It is odious before both God and man”.
Buhari sympathized with the United Nations and other humanitarian agencies working at Rann, and in the country generally.
He affirmed that such cowardly attacks can only bolster the determination of government to bring the Boko Haram insurgency to a decisive end, in the shortest possible time.

You are selfish, only think of your families – Sanusi blasts Nigerian leaders
The Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II, has slammed Nigerian leaders for being self-centred.
According to him, most Nigerian leaders only thought of their pockets and families.
“The bane of leadership in Nigeria is that the leaders are selfish; they only think of their families,” he said.
Sanusi made this observation while speaking at an award ceremony in Abuja on Wednesday.
He noted that most leaders no longer think of those that elected them into office but their families and interest.
“Those of us who think that public office is a place to enjoy ourselves should think again.
“Poverty, lack of education is violence; it breeds violence because many segments of the society are denied access to basic amenities,” he said.
He called on those in power to start thinking of how to empower other persons instead of enriching their pockets.
The Emir attributed the security challenges being experienced in the country to poverty and lack of education, among other factors people.
Sanusi also urged the Federal Government to tackle other forms of security challenges, having recorded a huge success in tackling insurgency in the country.
He said that security was a big challenge in the country.
“Once a state cannot provide security, it is not fit to be a state,” he said.
