Eight killed, many injured as bomb blast rocks Gombi, Adamawa

A bomb explosion on Friday afternoon rocked Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State as Muslim faithful were preparing for prayer.

The Northeast Information Officer of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Abdulkadir Ibrahim, told DAILY POST that eight persons died while twenty-seven others sustained varying degrees of injuries.

The attack is suspected to have been carried out by the Boko Haram insurgents.
