This British woman became a millionaire after buying a bottle of scotch for her brother at an aiport.
Linda Tobin bagged £703,000 - or a million US dollars - when she secured the top prize at Changi Airport in Singapore .
The 52 year old had been automatically put into a draw for the "Be a Changi Millionaire" lottery.
Beating six other finalists, after following the advice of her niece who told her to pick the number three.
The number three has turned out to be Linda's lucky number; she was the third finalist to be picked for the draw, it was her third time at Changi Airport and now it has scooped her the life-changing windfall.
She qualified for the draw when she bought the £288 bottle of Laphroaig 25 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch for her brother en-route to Australia via Singapore last year.
She told reporters: "I feel on top of the world!" adding she will splash out on a new car and will help her family out by buying a house with a garden.
Her niece has been offered trip back to Singapore by Linda to try the Singapore Sling cocktail at the famous colonial-era Raffles Hotel.

The other finalists were three Singaporeans, one Indonesian, and one Malaysian and another Brit each won just over £3,500 in cash each along with a three night stay at a top hotel in Singapore.
