I Had Orders From Above To Make Sure Metuh Arrived Court In Handcuffs” – FCT Comptroller of Prisons

The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olisa Metuh has been granted bail by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

The court also ordered him to pay N400million and provide two sureties in like sum. The sureties must live in Abuja and swear affidavit of means with two passport photographs.

Chief Olisa Metuh is also expected to submit his traveling document with the court Registrar. Chief Olisa Metuh who arrived the Court House in handcuffs, spotting grey beards was in high spirits.

An unnamed source at Kuje Prison who we asked why Chief Olisa metuh was in handcuffs unlike the other accused persons standing trial for allegedly receiving sums of money from the “$2.1 Billion” Arms Fund, said The Comptroller of Prisons, FCT, confided in him that; “I have orders from above, to make sure accused person (Chief Olisa Metuh)  appeared in Court in handcuffs”..

When he pressed further for him to reveal who gave the “order”, he cut the line.
