Kaura Attacks: Community Celebrates

After series of attacks that bedevilled the Attakar community in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State between 2012 and 2013, the community has organised a thanksgiving service to celebrate the return of normalcy and lasting peace in the area.
The event which held at the Primary School, Fadan Atakar over the weekend was to appreciate God for the restoration of normalcy in all the affected villages.
Speaking at the occasion, the Agwam Takad, Mr Tobias Nikon Wada said that the special event replaced the annual Ajay Cultural Festival in view of its significance.
Mr Wada said although the attacks led to massive loss of lives and property, the community still considered it necessary to organise a thanksgiving service to acknowledge God’s unfailing love.
The royal father expressed gratitude to the Kaura and Kaduna State government for what he described as timely intervention in all the attacks which restricted them to particular villages.
