Shehu Sani mocks El-rufai over Peter Obi

Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna Central has taken a swipe at Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State over his statement about Peter Obi.

Governor El-Rufai had described Peter Obi, the running mate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar as a “religious bigot.”

El-Rufai recalled that Obi supported his (El-Rufai’s) arrest by the Department of State Services, DSS in 2014 on the ground that “El-Rufai has no business being in Anambra State as it is not Katsina State.”

Reacting, Sani in a post on his Twitter page said Obi is a lesser evil.

The Kaduna lawmaker wrote: “An ethnic bigot is a lesser evil than a divisively religious one.”
