Moscow, Dec 27 (Prensa Latina) Russian Air Forces contributed to the liberation of the city of Homs and supported Syrian land troops in Damascus, where terrorists withdrew, said the media here today.
The newspaper Vzglyad said that with the support of Russian aviation, the Syrian Army freed the province of Homs from members of the Islamic State (IS) and other extremist groups, and also that the operation advances on Aleppo and Latakia.Officers supporting the constitutional management of Bashar Al-Assad told the Rossiya 24 television channel that the cooperation between Russian pilots and the Syrian Army improved considerably.
Meanwhile, General Ali Mayhub denounced in a press conference held last evening that Syrian governmental troops were targeted by mortars from Al Accra mountain, located in Turkish territory.
Mayhub said that Turkey takes advantages of the border control by terrorists, to supply them with weapons and ammunition, in exchange of cheap oil, antiques and smuggling other items.
According to Mayhub, the humanitarian convoys to which Turkey regularly referred to, seek to legalize supplies of shipments for terrorists and take those injured to Turkish hospitals.
The sources said that Turkey's irresponsibility allow terrorists in the world to join IS in Syria or move freely to European countries and commit crimes there.
According to the United Nations estimates, since March 2011, the war against the constitutional management of President Al-Assad, encouraged by the United States and its western and regional allies, caused more than 250,000 fatalities and left almost 12 million displaced people.
