Tiwa Savage Drives Pampers’ ‘Moms Know Best’ Campaign

Pampers has become a great companion for mothers and the care of their babies for generations. No wonder new mothers as they emerge join the ever growing line of mothers who trust the leading brands to care and protect their babies. Tiwa Savage, Nigeria’s songstress is one of such new mothers. Savage who recently gave birth in the UK has embraced the brand to care for her baby, she disclosed. Tiwa joined the league of other Nigeria’s Nollywood stars including Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde and Dakore as brand ambassadors for the premium brand from the stables of Procter & Gamble (P&G) Nigeria, a leading consumer goods manufacturing company.
Tiwa was unveiled to lead the new campaign, “Moms Know Best” of its flagship brand, Pampers Baby-Dry diaper held at Shraton Hotel and Suites, Ikeja, Lagos. The new television commercial (TVC) also has an online version #MomsKnowBest’ where mothers are encouraged to interact with the brand as well as share their experiences with brand for other online visitors
Ehis Enekabor, Brand Marketing Director, Procter and Gamble, Nigeria, said at the unveiling, that the Pampers ‘#MomsKnowBest’ Campaign was about encouraging moms to discuss what is best for their babies and share useful tips with each other, “because the everyday decisions moms make about their babies, plays a role in their overall healthy development.” The campaign also aims to share with Nigerian moms the improvements on Pampers Baby-Dry that have made it the driest diaper in the Nigerian market as at today
She said: “Moms know what is best for their babies as they always seek the best for them. That is why they need to know about the Pampers Baby-Dry diaper. Pampers diapers keep your baby dry up to 12 hours helping your baby get a dry and comfortable sleep. Part of the latest improvement is the new stretchy sides, which expands and relaxes with the baby’s tummy thereby preventing leakages. More so, the Super Gel locks wetness away better than any other diaper”.
Tiwa on her part, expressed excitement on the campaign. She said she seemed not to understand why many moms were discouraged from using the Nigeria Pampers saying as a mother, her experience of it so far has been great.
Tiwa said: “When I was in the UK, I used Pampers for my baby and when we came back, I decided to try the Nigerian Pampers out of many other diapers available in the market. My experience was just as great as with the one I used in the UK. It keeps my baby dry throughout the night. He wakes up full of strength and so I have come to trust it.”
Doctor Ronke Akinola, Pampers Paediatrician, and a fellow of the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinologists, also present at the event, described Pampers Baby-Dry as a diaper that is well suited for the long hours of comfortable and sound sleep that the baby needs.
She advised mothers to always ensure that their babies got a simple bath, a change of diaper and a light cloth as appropriate for comfortable sleep that aid babies’ steady development.
